Regular Day Schedule for
Grades K-5

7:45am  School opens for students
8:03am  Warning Bell
8:06am  Classes Begin
2:30pm  Dismissal

Early Dismissal Schedule & 
Banked Time Early Tuesdays:

From September 27, 2011 to May 1, 2012
  • 1:30pm Dismissal on Tuesdays 

Regular Day Schedule applies for Recess and Lunch

From late September to early May, Tuesdays become Early Dismissal days.  School is dismissed at 1:30pm on these days so teachers can participate in professional development activities.  





Recess Schedules

9:30-9:50am Kindergarten Recess  (3 classes)
9:55-10:15am Kindergarten Recess (2 classes)
10:15-10:35am First Recess (Grades 1, 2 & 4)
10:40-11:00am Second Recess (Grades 3 & 5)

Lunch Schedules

11:05-11.50am Kindergarten Lunch
11:30-12:15pm  First Lunch (1st and 4th Grades)
11:55-12:40pm  Second Lunch (3rd Grade + Rooms 22, 23 & 24)
12:15-1:00pm  Third Lunch (5th Grade + Rooms 35, 38 & 39)

Minimum Day Lunch Schedule

11:00-11:30am Kindergarten Lunch
11:30-12:00pm First Lunch (for those on first recess: Grades 1, 2, 4)
12:00-12:30pm Second Lunch(for those on second recess: Grades 3, 5)
12:35pm School Dismissal
12.35pm-1.20pm (Teacher Lunchtime)

This schedule occurs approximately 10 days per year, usually coinciding with teacher conference periods.

Note:  Students’ lunchtime is part of instructional time; therefore, on minimum days teachers must stay with their class during lunchtime.
