Located in Los Angeles's Hancock Park neighborhood, Third Street is a K-5 public elementary school of academic distinction.  It is an amazing and marvelous world filled with learning, opportunity, hard work and fun!  Our school is more than a school; it is a community that cultivates the highest success in learning, a culture for creativity, a center that sees the whole child, and a place for you and your children to build relationships that will last a lifetime.  

Third Street's API (Academic Performance Index) score as of September 2010 is 938 (out of 1,000) based on the Spring 2010 test results. This places Third Street in the top 2% of all elementary schools in Los Angeles.  We as a school compete academically with local Private, Gifted, Magnet, and Charter schools.  The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in partnership runs Third Street School with its community of families.  We have a diverse, creative and gifted student body that challenges and supports our students’ growth.
