Please join us for an online, 3-part series that introduces the A, B, C’s of Mindfulness – Awareness, Balance, & Compassion. Parents and caregivers are invited to come together and learn mindfulness-based skills and strategies that support greater clarity, emotional balance, and caring in an accessible, secular and inclusive way that can be easily utilized for even the busiest and most burdened of parents.
Coming together in a community with other parents can break the facade of perfect parenting, feelings of isolation, and cultivate the wisdom of present parenting while enjoying the support, humor, and connection of our shared humanity. Sessions will include:
Short mindful awareness informal and formal meditation practices
Experiential learning and group discussions in optional breakout rooms
Solid neuroscience and neurobiology to help manage the nervous system and rewire negative neural patterns
How to incorporate mindful tips and practices to share with the family
Resources and handouts
