2020-21 Meal Application due 10/29

Earlier this school year, all families should have received a pink meal application. To ensure that qualified students have access to free and/or reduced price meals and that our school receives additional funding it may be entitled to, 3rd Street Elementary needs meal application returned from ALL of our families.

Did you know that currently 27% of our families are eligible for free/reduced meals. If that number reaches 40%, our school would become eligible to receive Title I monies.

Please see the attached letter for additional details.

Halloween Spooktacular Car Parade and Pumpkin Carving Contest

Third Street Elementary is excited to announce a Spooktacular Pumpkin Carving and Drive-thru Halloween Celebration at our school! Families are invited to submit (one per child) a decorated or carved pumpkin which will be used to decorate the parade route. Pumpkins will be judged by our teachers and staff in the following categories: cutest, funniest, and most creative. One winner for each category from each grade level span (ETK/TK/PAL/K – grade 1; grade 2-3; grade 3-5) will be chosen. Families will drive by our school (see driveby times by grade below) to view all the fun and creative submissions and end in the teacher's parking lot for some very special teacher, staff, and panther appearances -- and of course a trick or treat!

Dress in your best costume, play your favorite car tunes, decorate your car and show some spirit! And don't forget to bring your treat bag for this super fun drive-thru party! Everyone remember to wear your mask and stay in your cars. We can't wait to see you on Thursday, October 29th

ETK, TK, PAL, 3rd Grade, 5th Grade - 2:30PM

Kindergarten, 4th Grade - 3PM

1st Grade, 2nd Grade - 3:30PM

Directions: Enter Las Palmas off 3rd Street, turn right on 2nd St, turn right on June St and end in the teacher's parking lot on June Street to receive a special treat.
