Spring Break

3rd Street Elementary will be on Spring Break from Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26. School will resume virtually on Monday, April 5.



Return to Campus Updates and FAQ

Beginning the week of April 19, students who have opted into hybrid in-person instruction will be returning to campus. To ensure a smooth transition, there are staggered start days and times for different grade level spans.


Monday, April 19

This day has been designated as a teacher planning and preparation day. Teachers will host a virtual welcome with students (30 minutes). It unknown at this time if students will be provided with asynchronous work.


Tuesday, April 20

PAL, ETK, TK, K, SDC, and Grade 1 students who are assigned to hybrid in-person instruction will start at 8:30 AM (AM Cohort) or 12:30 PM (PM Cohort). Grades 2-5 students will be taught online and follow their current schedule.


Wednesday, April 21

Grade 2 and 3 students who are assigned to hybrid in-person instruction JOIN PAL, ETK, TK, K, SDC, and Grade 1 students. Grades 2 and 3 start at 8:15 AM (AM Cohort) or 12:15 (PM Cohort). Grades PAL, ETK, TK, K, SDC, and 1 start at same time. Grades 4-5 students will be taught online and follow their current schedule.


Thursday, April 22

Grade 4 and 5 students who are assigned to hybrid in-person instruction JOIN PAL, ETK, TK, K, SDC, and Grades 1-3. Grades 4 and 5 start at 8:00 AM (AM Cohort) or 12:15 (PM Cohort). All other grades start at same time.


Friday, April 22

All students who are assigned to hybrid in-person instruction will start at the times listed above EXCEPT for Grade 1. Beginning Friday, April 22, all first grade students will start at 8:00 AM.


Monday, April 25

Beginning this Monday and every Monday thereafter, all students in the AM cohort and PM cohort will be dismissed 30 minutes early till the end of the 2020-21 school year.



We hope to notify parent of cohort assignments by Monday, April 12. A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page will go live beginning Wednesday, March 31and can be accessed HERE or on our Distance Learning page. Parents who were unable to attend the 3/25 community meeting are encouraged to view a recording of it on our Distance Learning page.
