*If any students are interested in reading more about Paper Sons (like we read last week), I recommend Paper Son: The Inspiring Story of Tyrus Wong, Immigrant and Artist, by Julie Leung, the true story of the Chinese-American immigrant who brought Disney’s Bambi to life with his art and animation. It was also the winner of the American Library Association’s 2021 Asian/Pacific American Award for Best Picture Book.
