HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE BENEFITING THE KOREATOWN YOUTH COMMUNITY CENTER
Please support one of our school's Girl Scout troops (Troop 02662) with their Holiday Toy Drive by donating new, unwrapped toys for kids aged 0-10 years old. The donation box is located at the main entrance and will be there until Friday 11/18. The toys will then be delivered to the KYCC for distribution at their annual Holiday Carnival. This is a great way to spread kindness to others in the community!
RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS DISTRIBUTION
In preparation for returning from Thanksgiving Break, your child will be bringing a box of rapid antigent tests. In this box, there are two rapid tests, which are one for Thanksgiving and Winter Break.
It is recommended, but not required, for students to test within 48 hours of entering campus after Thanksgiving break. Please note we are distributing rapid antigen tests to all students and staff on or before Friday, November 18, 2022. These tests have varying expiration dates, however, they are authorized for use beyond their expiration date by the California Department of Public Health, see letter in English and Spanish.
The rapid tests should be taken at home 24-48 hours before students and staff return to school on Monday, November 28, 2022.

Individuals who test NEGATIVE:
Do not upload to Daily Pass
Attend school on Monday, November 28, 2022
Individuals who test POSITIVE:
DO NOT attend school/work
Isolate immediately
Contact a doctor to make a plan for care, and
On a separate paper, write down the following information and take a picture:
Full legal name,
Date of birth,
Test date,
Last date on site (if applicable), and
“POSITIVE”

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE WEEK
This week is parent teacher conference week. 11/14, 16, 17, and 18 are minimum days (12:35 pm dismissal), and 11/15 is a Banked Tuesday (1:30 pm dismissal).
SAVE THE DATE FOR CASINO & COCKTAILS FEBRUARY 10, 2023
Save the date for "Casino & Cocktails" on Friday, February 10th at Carondelet House. The annual parents night out event helps raise funds for all of the amazing Friends of Third sponsored programs that our kids know and love including PE, Tech Lab and Music.
