WALKATHON UPDATES
Last week to get Third Street swag! Just be sure to get $10+ in donations by the end of the day Friday, April 19th!
We are also looking to award a student who goes above and beyond for the school during this important fundraiser. Please nominate a student who has donated their own money, canvassed their neighborhood, set up a lemonade stand, etc. We want to know! Please email elizabeth.schmidt@gmail.com with the details!
CALLING ALL CENTENNIAL COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS
Did you know that Third Street will be celebrating our Centennial next year?! In honor of 100 years of excellence, we’re already beginning to plan special events and activities for the 2024/25 school year.
It will surely take a village to pull this off so we’re forming a Centennial committee of current parents, alumni, and teachers. If you love Third Street and want to be a part of something truly special, this is for you!
This is an all hands on deck committee. We are looking for people with specific knowledge in areas of construction, editing/videography, producing/directing, and event planning.

READ AROUND THE WORLD & SWIMMING IN BOOKS PROGRAMS ENDING SOON
Read Around the World ends April 19th, Swimming in Books ends May 10th.
Students who finish all 21 books for RATW or 12 books for SIB will receive an invitation to an ice cream party at the end of the year where they will receive their certificates. Let’s keep reading to the finish line!
MCC STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS ARE THERE TO SUPPORT STUDENTS
The Making Caring Common Student Council members will be wearing gold hats throughout the school days so they can be easily identified and recognized on campus. Please let your students know to look for the gold hats if they need a friend, someone to talk to, or help with anything.

Traffic Safety Volunteers wanted - Traffic Safety Valet Sign Up is encouraged for our 1st through 5th grade families. Each slot is only for ~20 minutes and helps our drop offs go smoothly and safely, and enables our school's aides to be on campus helping our students get to class.
