Hi Third Street Families!
We are off to a great start for Annual Giving! All families are asked to donate to two main drives: Friends of Third Annual Giving and PTA Membership. Kindergarten and TK families are also asked to contribute to the Kindergarten Support Fund.
This year Friends of Third will be supporting technology, arts, music, physical education, library services, classroom materials, field trips, professional development, and more above and beyond what is funded by LAUSD. Also, our school needs to be able to act quickly as needs arise, and supporting FOT is the most effective way to accomplish that.
Last year, together we funded a total budget of over $450,000. This year, your family’s Annual Giving donation is more important than ever and will have a deep impact on our community, allowing us to remain agile and ready to meet the changing needs of our community. We are asking each family to donate $1000 per student. This might not work for your family, and that is okay. Please consider making a donation that is meaningful for your family. If your family is in a position to provide more generous support for our community, please do so. All families give. All students benefit.

드디어 연례 기부 행사인 “애뉴얼 기빙(Annual Giving)” 행사가 시작됩니다. 3가 초등학교의 모든 가족은 Friends of Third 애뉴얼 기빙과 PTA 멤버십, 두 가지 항목으로 학교를 위한 기부를 하실 수 있고, TK와 킨더 가족들은 킨더 펀드(Kindergarten Support Fund)에도 기부하실 수 있습니다.
이번 해에Friends of Third는 기술체계, 미술, 음악, 체육, 도서관 서비스, 교과자료, 견학, 전문성 개발 등. LAUSD에서 지원하는 것 그 이상의 부분들을 지원할 것입니다. 또한, 학교 측은 선생님이나 학생들의 도움이 필요할 때는 언제든지 최대한 신속하게 대응할 것이며, 이를 위해 FOT를 적극적으로 지원해주시는 것이 학교를 돕는 가장 좋은 방법입니다.
. 지난해, 애뉴얼 기빙 행사를 통해 총 45만달러 이상의 예산을 모을 수 있었습니다. 올해, 여러분의 소중한 기부는 그 어느 때보다 중요하며 학교 커뮤니티에 깊은 영향을 미치게 될 것입니다. 여러분의 기부는 매일 급변하는 상황 속에서 학교가 발 빠르게 대처할 수 있는 원동력이 됩니다. FOT는 모든 가정이 학생당 $1000를 기부해주시도록 권고하고 있습니다. 그러나 각 가정의 상황에 맞게 더 적은 금액도, 더 많은 금액도 상관 없습니다. 가정의 상황을 고려하셔서 의미 있는 금액으로 기부해주시면 됩니다.
